Well-established engineering consultancy specializing in electrical power systems seeks to employ a Civil Design Engineer. Based in Bellville

For the position you would be required to have:

• B. Sc/ B. Eng in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in civil design
• Experience in substation design (highly advantageous)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience on Eskom or similar utility projects
• Knowledge of geotechnical and hydrology inputs

Responsibilities would include you to:

• Civil design for substations and related infrastructure (earthworks, drainage, roads, foundations)
• Develop layouts, grading plans, and stormwater designs
• Coordinate with electrical and structural disciplines
• Prepare drawings, BOQs, and technical reports
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and standards
